Dialogue and Cooperation with International Institutions

The Confederation of Humanitarian Nations (CNU) promotes dialogue and cooperation with international institutions and diplomatic environments as part of its activities in support of human rights, civic responsibility, and the strengthening of local communities.

CNU operates as a community-based civil society network, composed of humanitarian entities, non-governmental organizations, confederated international organizations, and other actors committed to the protection of human rights and the development of inclusive and resilient communities.

Its activities are carried out in various territorial contexts, in Europe and in non-EU countries, through a practical, responsible, and people-centered approach.

Areas of Dialogue and Cooperation

CNU’s engagement with diplomatic and institutional environments focuses on the following areas.

Human Rights Education and Civic Empowerment

CNU develops training and awareness-raising initiatives addressed to citizens, volunteers, and local operators, with the aim of fostering a practical understanding of human rights and civic responsibilities.
The focus is on providing cultural and civic tools that support constructive dialogue between populations and institutions.

Applied Human Rights and Territorial Good Practices

CNU promotes the collection, analysis, and systematization of territorial experiences and concrete cases, identifying good practices related to the protection of human dignity, social inclusion, and community cohesion.
The approach adopted is oriented toward improvement, the exchange of experiences, and shared learning.
