Flora and Fauna Board (FFB)

Mission

Dedicated to the protection of animal and plant species at both national and international levels, the Flora and Fauna Board (FFB) of the Confederation of Humanitarian Nations (CNU) works to preserve biological diversity and to promote awareness of the vital role that nature plays in sustaining life and human well-being.

Who We Are

The Flora and Fauna Board is a network of experts, biologists, ecologists, naturalists, and committed volunteers working together to safeguard our shared natural heritage. Through scientific research, community engagement, and institutional partnerships, the Board contributes to the conservation of numerous vulnerable and endangered species across various ecosystems.

Objectives

Our key objectives include:

  • Monitoring and studying populations of animal and plant species to assess their conservation status.

  • Protecting and restoring natural habitats, and supporting the creation of protected and ecological corridors.

  • Raising public awareness about the importance of biodiversity, sustainability, and conservation ethics.

  • Collaborating with institutions, governments, and organizations to develop and promote effective environmental and conservation policies in line with international frameworks such as the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Main Activities

Our core activities include:

  • Field monitoring and research programs to evaluate the ecological health of habitats and species populations.

  • Rehabilitation and reintroduction initiatives aimed at restoring endangered species to their natural environments.

  • Environmental education programs for schools, local communities, and the general public.

  • Advocacy and policy dialogue to promote legislation and regulations in favor of biodiversity conservation.
