
Economic Council (EC)
The Economic Council, operating in synergy with the Council for Social Policies, is responsible for designing, implementing, and coordinating economic and labor policies within the Confederation’s framework.
Its mission is to promote sustainable economic development, decent work, and social equity across all Confederated Members and partner States.
The Council ensures the protection of labor rights by facilitating dialogue, fostering responsible investment, and encouraging economic cooperation among Member States, in line with the principles of human dignity and social justice.
Among its core purposes are:

Promoting freedom of enterprise and trade in full respect of the rights and dignity of every individual;

Eliminating all forms of discrimination or restriction that hinder fair economic participation;

Supporting ethical, transparent, and Human Rights–compliant commerce, consistent with the UN Global Compact, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and relevant international standards.
