The Special Board for Emergency Operations and Human Protection is the CNU body responsible for coordinating interventions in situations of crisis, vulnerability or humanitarian risk.
It works to ensure protection, safety and support for affected communities, in close cooperation with other confederal bodies and specialised operational units.
The Board prepares intervention plans, assesses territorial priorities, coordinates field missions and provides technical guidance for the management of emergencies, in accordance with humanitarian principles and relevant international standards.
Its activities and functions are defined by the CNU Statute and the applicable confederal regulations.
