The Humanitarian Court and Court for the Self-Determination of Peoples is the internal judicial body of the Confederation, responsible for reviewing petitions and matters concerning human rights, self-determination, communities and peoples represented within the CNU.
The Court examines formal submissions, conducts fact-finding procedures, hears designated representatives and gathers relevant documentation in order to issue decisions, opinions and recommendations in line with international human rights and collective rights standards.
It operates with full independence and impartiality, ensuring a rigorous and transparent process. Its decisions do not carry coercive force toward States or external institutions, but they serve as an authoritative reference for internal protection, mediation and the strategic direction of confederal policies.
The Court may propose humanitarian action plans, transmit reports to CNU bodies, and cooperate with international organisations when required.
Its mandate, structure and procedures are defined by the CNU Statute and the dedicated Court Regulation.
