Ethics Committee (EC)

The Ethics Committee (EC) is an independent and impartial body established to ensure that all activities of the Confederation of Humanitarian Nations (CNU) are conducted in full compliance with ethical, legal, and human rights standards.

Its primary function is to safeguard the fundamental rights, dignity, and well-being of all individuals, by assessing the ethical and legal implications of the Confederation’s actions and decisions.

The Committee is also responsible for drafting, updating, and overseeing the implementation of the Code of Ethics and the Manuals of Conduct applicable to the Confederation’s Diplomats, Human Rights Defenders, and institutional representatives.

When required, the Ethics Committee may advise and support the Office of the Prosecutor or other Confederation bodies to ensure that legality, accountability, and integrity are upheld at all operational levels.
