The International Humanitarian Intervention Corps (IHIC) is the operational unit of the CNU dedicated to immediate action in emergencies, humanitarian crises and high-risk contexts.
It conducts protection missions, rescue operations, logistical support and assistance to affected communities, working in coordination with confederal bodies and specialised humanitarian structures.
IHIC develops operational plans, deploys trained personnel in the field and contributes to the technical management of emergencies, in line with humanitarian principles and international safety standards.
Its activities and functions are defined by the CNU Statute and the relevant humanitarian operations regulations.
