The Confederation strengthens dialogue with Italian representatives ahead of the joint meeting in November

Budapest, 12 October 2025 – The Office of the Secretary-General of the Confederation has launched the final phase of coordination with the main Italian institutions and representatives in Hungary, in view of the joint introductory meeting scheduled for the second half of November 2025.

This initiative follows the institutional dialogue started in August at the Embassy of Italy in Hungary, during a meeting between the then First Secretary Dr. Nicole Spada and the CNU Secretary-General, Dr. Harry Tallarita.

In recent days, the General Secretariat has sent formal communications to:

  • Italian Chamber of Commerce for Hungary (CCIU),

  • Confindustria Italy in Hungary,

  • Confcommercio Italy in Hungary,

  • A.I.C.S. – Association of Italians in Hungary,

  • General Council of Italians Abroad (CGIE).

The joint meeting, to be held in Hungary between 17 and 28 November 2025, will serve as an institutional and operational platform to foster synergies among the Italian associative, economic, and civic sectors, together with the humanitarian and educational initiatives promoted by the Confederation.

An official CNU delegation will take part in the meeting, joined by a representative of the Vigilanza Ambientale Boschiva of the Italian Civil Protection, a partner of the Confederation in the field of Civil Protection and territorial safety.

Secretary-General Harry Tallarita expressed his “deep satisfaction for the attention shown by the Italian institutions in Hungary and for the constructive approach that has characterized this process of collaboration.”

Through this initiative, the CNU reaffirms its commitment to fostering inter-institutional cooperation, human rights promotion, and the enhancement of Italian communities abroad as an integral part of the Confederation’s international humanitarian framework.
